SAUSAGE STUFFED MUSHROOMS 2
˝ lb.- venison or elk sausage
Granny Elsie’s Creole or
Sicilian Sausage Seasoning recommended.
1 package- large mushrooms, stems removed
1-large garlic clove, minced
2 TBLS.- EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
˝ lb.- cream cheese
2 TBLS.- chopped parsley
3 TBLS.- parmesan cheese, grated
˝ cup- mozzarella cheese, grated
1/8 cup- breadcrumbs
1- lemon
Brown and
drain sausage, mix with all remaining ingredients, except lemon. Stuff
mushrooms and bake or grill @ 350 for 10-15 minutes. Squeeze fresh lemon over
mushrooms just prior to serving.
